Indiana University scientists have built a highly efficient bio-material that can serve as a catalyst for hydrogen production. This material brings half to the long sought-after "holy grail" of splitting water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen to be used as fuel to the table -- essentially, taking us just one step away from cars that run on tap water.
